The photos above are the “before” and “after” pictures of a recent CM 92 extruder that we refurbished in our shop. Yes, it is the same extruder!

Our customer hired our services to strip out the remains of a FACTS control and replace it with our own discrete control package. Reliable Barber Coleman 7EM temperature controllers and a G.E. 9030 PLC were the heart of this retrofit package.   We upgraded the existing entry adapter to the Open-Bore entry adapter for better throughput.  We also upgraded the original screw-oil manifolds to the new Flexiseal RF screw-oil manifolds which will provide a long leak-free service life.   We provided a new dosing feeder, main blower motor, air conditioner, and paint job as well.
A good technician reviewed all aspects of the extruder for proper operation.
